The heart of the estate

With a beautiful garden and plenty of parking, the café is where you’ll frequently find fellow guests and wildlife-loving locals. As a key point on the South West Coastal Path, it’s perfectly placed for walkers to take a break and recharge. If you’re hoping to take things at a slower pace, skip the walk and simply sit and watch the waves roll in.

It’s even a favourite of Poldark star Aidan Turner, who visited regularly while filming nearby. Rick Stein also popped in for a cream tea while looking for choughs on the headland.

If you want to head out on an exploration of the coast, why not pop into the café and fill your rucksack with a picnic? From tasty pasties and freshly filled sandwiches, to hot local coffee and refreshing milkshakes; they’ve got everything you need to keep you going on a day of discovery.
